K?lauea summit inflation resumed following the end of episode 35, indicating that another fountaining episode is possible, but likely at least two weeks away. 현재 진행 중인 할레마우마우 화산 분화의 에피소드 35는 7.5시간 동안 계속된 분천(噴泉) 후 10월 18일 오늘 아침 오전 3시 32분(HST)에 갑자기 종료되었다. 화구 지역과 용암류는 앞으로 며칠 동안 식고 굳으면서 느린 움직임 및/또는 백열(白熱) 현상을 보일 수 있다. 킬라우에아 정상의 팽창은 에피소드 35가 종료 후 재개되었으며, 이는 또 다른 분천 에피소드가 발생할 가능성을 시사하지만, 최소 2주 후에 발생할 가능성이 높다.
